Trumps Deal auf dem Rücken der Ukraine

Die USA wollen als Gegenleistung für die Unterstützung der Ukraine bei der Verteidigung gegen Russland Zugriff auf wichtige ukrainische Rohstoffe erhalten. Für US-Präsident Donald Trump kann dabei nichts schiefgehen – selbst, wenn Kiew fallen sollte. Einer schaut ohnehin in die Röhre.

Hand drauf: Was der Rohstoff-Deal mit den USA der Ukraine bringt, ist bislang unklar. Noch diese Woche will der ukrainische Präsident Wolodymyr Selenskyj (2. v. r.) – hier beim Handschlag mit dem heutigen US-Präsidenten Donald Trump im vergangenen November – nach Washington reisen, um die Abmachung zu besiegeln.
