Ursula von der Leyen kann nach ihrer Bestätigung durch das Europaparlament fünf weitere Jahre EU-Kommissionspräsidentin bleiben. Das ist keine Garantie für eine erfolgreiche Präsidentschaft. Aber immerhin hat Europa eine Sache vermieden.

Sichtlich erfreut: EU-Kommissionspräsidentin Ursula von der Leyen ist am Donnerstag mit 401 Stimmen vom EU-Parlament wiedergewählt worden, mindestens notwendig wären 360 gewesen. Sie kann nun fünf weitere Jahre im Amt bleiben.
